Let's be honest; nobody enjoys cleaning a toilet. But when the toilet bowl is looking a little worse for wear, sometimes you just need to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Of course, a toilet brush can normally help you out with that task - but it seems as though this guy didn't have a toilet brush at his disposal. He did have a hairbrush though... and that's basically the same thing, right?

Women would probably highly disagree with that question, but it seems as though this guy is quite content with using a hairbrush as a toilet brush. Even though it's broken in two and barely being held together by tape.

This Is What She Found Where the Toilet Paper Should Be

Every bathroom needs to be stocked with the bathroom essentials. We're talking about shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. But it seems as though everyone has their own thoughts and feelings about what is considered to be a bathroom essential - and this woman's boyfriend obviously decided that being prepared for the late-night munchies was of utmost importance. And we can certainly see the appeal of such a cupboard.

Instead of waking up and walking all the way downstairs to have a snack, this guy can just walk next door to his bathroom and grab a handful of Marshmallows Stars!

DIY Blinders for Bathroom Reading

If you're looking at this photo and wondering what the heck is going on, we don't blame you. So many weird things happen in men's houses, and their partners sometimes only realize this when they get to experience that strange environment for themselves. And when this woman slept over at her new boyfriend's house for the first time, she was confused when she spotted this bedraggled sleeping mask on his bedside table.

Apparently, this woman's boyfriend decided to chop up his facemask because he always gets distracted while he's reading. So, he made himself blinders so he would only focus on the pages in front of him.

This Was the Only Toilet Paper Roll in the Bathroom

When you first start dating someone new, you need to be careful. It can be very easy for you to get the ick and suddenly hate everything about this new person - and that can be disastrous for your potential relationship. Of course, everyone's own icks are very personal and subjective. But we think you can all agree that if you went into a guy's bathroom and saw this toilet paper, a new ick will be unlocked.

Something about this picture makes us shiver because it's just so wrong! Nothing about it makes sense, and we hate the fact that this guy took the time to push the holder through the toilet paper in that way.

The Toothbrush of Nightmares

If you were on a date with a guy, went back to his place, and then spotted this 'toothbrush' in the bathroom, what would you do? Well, we'd like to think that you'd leave his house as soon as possible and never see him again. That's because some things just can't be fixed - and we have a feeling that someone who is willing to leave a toothbrush in such a state isn't someone who can be fixed.

One thing we can't understand is how the toothbrush came to be in such a state in the first place. Does this guy have super strength? At least his teeth were probably nice and clean... for a while.

The Most Surprising Thing Ever Found in a Bathroom

If you've been to Australia, you'll know that the Land of Down Under is full of surprises. One minute you could be chomping down on some delicious (or supposedly delicious) Vegemite, and the next minute you could be face-to-face with a giant snake that's decided to call your home their home. But while some Australians are used to this, we bet this guy didn't expect to see a kangaroo hanging out in his bathroom!

Who knows what this kangaroo has been up to, but there's no doubt about the fact that he's made a mess. Let's hope he cleaned up the toilet paper on the floor before he left.

Engineering at Its Finest

We hate to generalise, as there are many impressive female inventors out there, but there's no doubt about the fact that men like to solve problems - especially when they involve some light engineering. And in this apartment filled with men, they decided to put their heads together and come up with a solution to their toilet paper problem. Sure, they could have just bought a toilet paper holder. But why would they do that when they could make one, instead?

Using pencils, duct tape, and what looks like some cable ties and pegs, these guys have made a fairly impressive toilet paper holder. It's not the most attractive thing to look at, though.

There Has to Be an Explanation for This

You've heard of skeletons in the closet, but have you ever seen skeletons in the bathroom? When the woman who took this photo saw what her date had in his bathroom, she was obviously a little confused. But more than anything, she was probably a little scared. After all, we've all watched at least one scary movie! For this guy's sake, though, we're going to assume this was a harmless bone.

Perhaps it was a fake bone left over from Halloween, or maybe it was a dog bone! Although the hammer sitting right next to the bone wasn't helping his case.

The Ideal Practice Spot

If you've ever played an instrument, you'll know that finding the right practice spot is key. You need to find a space where the acoustics are just right, where you have enough space to move around, and where you feel comfortable. This place is different for everyone, but it's a little surprising to see that this drummer's perfect spot is the bathroom! In fact, it looks as though he plays the drums from the bath tub.

We guess he'd be comfortable in that spot, and there's no doubt about the fact that the acoustics in a bathroom are second-to-none. So, we'd give this a 5 out of 10 on the weird scale.

A.... Shelf?

Guys will really do anything to avoid spending money, and we do have to commend them on their ability to come up with cost-saving ideas. But we can't help but wonder if cutting costs is really worth it - especially when you have a stingy landlord who will do everything he can to avoid giving you your security deposit back. That didn't stop this guy from creating this own shelf in the bathroom, though.

Instead of buying a shelf from the store, he decided to punch a hole in his wall, instead. And while it does indeed work, we wouldn't recommend this as a viable option!

We Pity the Fool

There are so many things that every bathroom needs; a bath, a sink, a toilet, and a toothbrush holder, right? There's nothing worse than having to leave your toothbrush lying on the edge of the sink, as this just leaves the whole thing open to all kinds of toothpaste juices. But it seems as though the guy who owned this bathroom didn't want to buy a specific toothbrush holder. He had a much better idea.

Is there anything Sergeant Bosco 'B.A' Baracus can't do? We pity the fool who can't take down evil villains and keep your toothbrush clean and dry at the same time.

Okay, this guy deserves 10 points to Gryffindor. We love Harry Potter as much as the next guy (who really loves Harry Potter), so we can appreciate the creativity and the thought that went into this rather strange and unusual bathroom decoration. But we can't help but wonder about the thought process behind such a move. Is this a joke? Or does he have a crush on the moaning Hogwarts ghost?

Whatever the case, we can only imagine the shock on a woman's face when she saw this for the first time. After all, no woman wants to have to compete with a ghost in a U-bend.

There's nothing more satisfying than a clean and tidy bathroom, right? It shows that someone takes care of their space, and likes to keep the whole thing as hygienic as possible. So, we bet this woman was over the moon when she walked into this guy's bathroom and saw that the whole thing was clean and tidy. But there was one thing that caught her eye - and that was the fact that he'd stuck his toothbrushes into an orange!

Was this his very own air freshener and toothbrush holder combo? If so, we can't decide whether this is genius or just downright weird. It'd be weird if he didn't swap out the orange every few days, at least.

Halloween wouldn't be Halloween without some spookiness, right? Everyone has their own way of adding the creep factor to their homes, and the guys who lived in this apartment decided to scare their housemates and visitors by putting a picture of Big Foot on the inside of the lid. And we bet they heard so many screams coming from their bathroom when they had people over for a Halloween dinner party!

But when this girlfriend went to her boyfriend's place and spotted that Big Foot was still there way after Halloween, she just had to take a picture of it. After all, you have to admire their dedication.

The Perfect Fit

When guys live in a house, they have their own way of doing things and their own way of taking care of things. This is especially true when it comes to broken things. For some reason, guys just don't like to admit defeat or throw things out, which is why the guys who lived in this house decided to try and fix their figurine rather than throw it in the trash.

They didn't let the fact that the figurine had lost its head detract them from their plan, either. They searched high and low, and eventually found a doll's head that (almost) worked a treat!

If you love Jeff Goldblum, join the club. This actor is one of the best guys on the planet, and his acting work will live on for centuries. And it seems as though this guy loves Jeff Goldblum, too. So much so that he decided to turn his bathroom into a shrine for the actor! Not only do you see him from the toilet, but it seems as though you also get one last look at him when you leave the bathroom, too.

We imagine it's pretty weird to do your business on the toilet and see those beady pairs of eyes looking down at you, but maybe some people like to do their thing with an audience.

Almost Caught Him Out

There's nothing worse than having a hunch that someone is cheating on you. It can break your heart and break down your spirit, making you feel as though you're not worthy. But sometimes, it's hard to ignore the signs. Maybe they make secret phone calls in the middle of the night, or maybe they have another toilet brush in their bathroom that isn't yours. And that's exactly what happened here.

Luckily for this woman, though, that second toothbrush wasn't being used for what she thought it was being used for! Her engineer boyfriend simply used it as a toilet roll holder, that's all.

You just have to love the inner workings of a man's brain. While there's no doubt that these men are incredibly smart - they're incredibly smart in their own, unique way. This means that they have their own rules and ideas when it comes to fixing things. And sure, the guy who lives in this house could have screwed the shower pole into the wall as you're supposed to, but duct tape works just as well, right?

We really hope this guy warns any dates about this shoddy DIY job, as one strong tug and this pole will come crashing down. And that'll probably wreck any chances of a second date.

Bathroom of Dreams

Many of the bathrooms on this list have been pretty weird. But what's weird about this? The Jonas Brothers are cultural icons, so why wouldn't you want to have a very artistic portrait of them looking down at you while you go number two? Okay, we're totally kidding. If we were this guy's date and we went to use this bathroom, we'd be leaving quicker than you can say "Waffle House."

We don't know why this person has the Jonas Brothers adorning their bathroom walls, but we do have to give them bonus points for having a spare roll of toilet paper and some cleaning products to hand.

An Impressive Collection

It's important to deck your bathroom out in products that you use on a regular basis. And while you can certainly find space for a decorative soap or a sea sponge you've told yourself you're never going to use, it's best to fill your shelves with essential products, too. This guy obviously did that - but we do have to question his perception of the word "essential." Are six bottles of Dove body soap essential?

We can only assume that this guy is the cleanest guy on the planet, and that it must take him two hours every day to have a shower with all of those products.

Feeling a Bit Cagey

You probably don't need us to tell you that Nicolas Cage is one of the most famous men in the world. There's something about him that's just so mysterious but so endearing, and the fact that he's starred in some of our favorite movies certainly helps, too. And it seems as though we're not the only ones to love him, as when this girl ventured into her date's bathroom she stumbled across this Nic Cage shower curtain!

We'd love to know if his picture is on the inside of the shower, the outside of the shower, or whether the image is on both sides. If it's the latter, anyone showering is in for a real treat.

Just Chillin' and Grillin'

Have you ever had a bath and realized half-way through your soak that you were super hungry? On the one hand, you don't want to get out of the bath and waste the hot water, but on the other hand, you want to settle your grumbling stomach. Most people would simply wait until they'd finished to head to the kitchen to grab some food, but this guy decided to go rogue and shove a grill in his bathroom, instead.

The smoke from the grill coupled with the steam from the bath probably makes it impossible to see anything in this bathroom. So, we really hope this guy has a strong extractor fan.

There are many homeowners out there who have strict rules when it comes to their bathrooms - especially if they have two bathrooms. They often make the downstairs bathroom the tinkle toilet, while the upstairs bathroom is for number twos. We guess this guy also put that rule in place, but he wanted to go the extra mile to ensure that people only used this particular toilet for number ones.

A large watermelon should do the trick, right? Although we dread to think what would happen if someone got up in the middle of the night and tried to use this for a number two.

When you go to anybody's house for the first time, there's a high chance that your inquisitive nature gets the better of you. Although you try to style it out as nonchalance, it's impossible to stop yourself from nosing around the other person's home. You secretly read the mail they left on the kitchen counter, you check out the products in their vanity cabinet, and you take a look at the picture frames around the house.

But have you ever seen a framed picture of Bill Nye the Science Guy in the bathroom? No, neither have we. But maybe it's his reminder to keep questioning the universe, or something.

No bathroom would be complete without some little decorations or trinkets that really show off your personality. They could be bright and bold to show off your extroverted nature, or they could be more subtle and stylish to show off an introvert. But we can't help but wonder what kind of guy this person is. After all, we have a feeling that most men don't store their toothbrushes in little cowboy boots.

So, are we to assume that this person is dating a cowboy? If that's the case then that's pretty cool, and we wonder whether he lassos his towel every time he wants to use it.

Anyone who has watched any horror film ever will know that a whole load of drama often takes place in the bathroom. After all, tiles and white appliances are normally very easy to clean. So, that's why we have the heebie-jeebies when we look at this picture. Although this might be totally innocent, something about this guy's bathroom just doesn't seem to add up to us. What makes this even worse is the fact that the guy who lives in this apartment is supposedly from a very rich family. And that's another horror movie cliche we don't want to explore.

In today's day and age, there are so many different ways to earn money. You could go into an office and grind away at a 9-5, you could freelance, and you could even sell pictures of your feet online if you really wanted to! But when this woman walked into her date's bathroom, she realized that he wasn't doing any of those things. Instead, he was trying to make money by DIY-ing his own lobster farm.

Yes, those are real, live lobsters in the sink! And if that's not the weirdest thing you've ever seen in a guy's bathroom, then we're not sure what would be.

Perhaps he put this there to remind him to put his towel back on the rail? Or maybe it's a reminder to flush the toilet? Either way, it's pretty strange.

He Said His Name Was Keegan

When you first start dating someone, you aim to learn as much about them as possible. You ask about their family, their friends, and where they live. And when this girlfriend learned about a guy in her boyfriend's apartment called Keegan, she just assumed that he was one of his housemates. But oh how wrong she was! Keegan was, in fact, a very large cardboard cut-out stuck over the toilet.

We're not sure what the purpose of Keegan is or why his housemates were so attached to him, but it seems as though the guys have really looked after this cardboard man over the past few months.

Who Wouldn't Want an Empty Turtle Shell in the Bathroom

If you walked into a guy's bathroom and spotted an empty turtle shell sitting on top of the toilet, what would you do? We'd assume that you'd have a lot of questions - and we have a lot of questions, too. What happened to the actual turtle? Was it their pet? Why is it on top of the toilet? Let's be honest; they're just a couple of the many questions we have in our heads.

But it seems as though this woman wasn't too disgusted by the old turtle shell in the bathroom, as she even decided to take a selfie with it. That's one for the mantlepiece - or the top of the toilet!

You never know when hunger is going to strike you, which is why we don't blame some guys for being prepared. But this is a warning to everyone that if you keep fresh food out in the open, it's almost definitely going to go moldy! That's exactly what happened to one guy, whose girlfriend noticed a strange smell coming from the drawer in his vanity unit. So, she checked it out.

It seems as though this guy was bulking up on some carbs in the middle of the night, and then stashing his leftover pizza in the drawer. And while we admire his love of pizza, we're shaking our heads at the same time.

When you haven't spoken to your significant other all day, you expect your first conversation of the day to be full of love and compliments. But one girlfriend didn't get that from her boyfriend. Instead, when he rang her up, he only had one request: "Can you get me a bunch of pellets from the pet store?" As her boyfriend didn't have a pet of any kind, she was definitely confused.

It turns out that he had a new addition to his bathroom, but he didn't intend for it to happen. A bird had flown into his bathroom, and it wouldn't fly away home again!

If you've experienced the loss of a pet, you'll know that it's one of the most heartbreaking things you can ever go through. Animals can impact you in ways you never imagined, and the fact that they're no longer by your side can be hard to take. Every new day is a chance to better yourself and become a better version of the person you were yesterday, and while that mostly refers to how you treat others, that also refers to how you present yourself. After all, we've all had looks we weren't proud of, right? Whether it was the bowl cut from three years ago or the frosted tips that were inspired by Justin Timberlake, all of these looks deserve to be in the past.

It seems as though this guy decided to remind himself of how far he had come in his bathroom - and to remind himself not to go back there. After all, he'd had the ultimate glow-up since then.

Although the guys wanted to recycle, they often got confused about what could be recycled and what couldn't. So, they quite literally spelled it out for each other on the trash cans.

This Was a Public Bathroom

Women won't understand the horrors of the men's public bathrooms. And while you'd think that men have it easier because they don't need as many bathroom stalls, it seems as though these places are constantly dirty and smelly. Many men try to avoid these places like the plague, but you know what they say; when you've gotta go, you've gotta go. But have you ever seen a public bathroom quite like this before?

It seems as though this men's room was also being used as someone's personal store room. From the lockers to the vacuum cleaner and the shoes, someone has definitely made themselves at home here.
